چکیده
Background: Stroke patients generally have disorders related to decreased functionality, motor disturbances being the most common. One symptom of stroke is sudden weakness one side body on face, arms and legs. Central post-stroke pain a condition central neuropathic arising directly from lesions cerebrovascular somatosensory nervous system. Mirror therapy non-pharmacological in form imaging limbs, where mirror medium used convey visual stimulation brain through observing parts who are not disabled while doing series movements. helps reducing disability limbs as treatment. for pain, thereby helping improve functional shorten rehabilitation period. Summary case: A 54-year-old man with painful spastic left hand has been diagnosed infarct right thalamus 2 years ago. done two weeks, precisely six days per week duration about 30 minutes. by using media that placed both hands patient symmetrically observes reflection healthy limb flexion, extension, finger counts, grasping objects. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS Score) measure level before after therapy. After month experienced an increase function decrease scale. Conclusion: promising method stroke.

Mirror therapy for an adult with central post-stroke pain: a case report
Background Treatment of central post-stroke pain (CPSP) after a thalamic-capsular stroke is generally based on pharmacological approach as it is low responsive to physiotherapy. In this case report, the use of mirror therapy (MT) for the reduction of CPSP in a subject after a stroke involving thalamus is presented. Case presentation Five years after a right lenticular-capsular thalamic stroke...

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Objectives: One of the most important problems seen in patients after stroke is that they cannot develop normal muscle strength. In recent years, the use of Mirror Therapy (MT) in the recovery of this condition has been noticed in different studies. This study investigated the effect of MT on motor recovery in patients after stroke. Methods: In this clinical trial, 93 patients were divided int...
